Mount Pilatus Round Trip
This is a great circular tour, using several modes of transport, around Lake Luzern and the top of Mount Pilatus.
First, the cog railway to the top.....
.....then the alpine choughs at the top.....
....then the cable car down to catch the trolleybus into Luzern....
...followed by a wander round the historic city
(the medieval Kapellbrücke was restored after being destroyed by fire in 1993)...
....and a boat moored in front of the Kapellbrücke....
...has a coot's nest, complete with egg!...
......and then the trip on the lake steamer.....
....with a view of some very posh houses on the banks of Lake Lucerne.
