Our room
Our room - Junior Suite 10.

Inside our room - looking neat and tidy after cleaning by our excellent room attendant, Navaz.

The outside shower in the open-air bathroom.

The little-used seating area in our room.

The view from our veranda.

Orchids grew around the island planted in half-coconuts strapped to trees.

There was a group of four Lovebirds (like this one) and a budgerigar who lived on the island. They were originally tame hand-reared pets, but seem to have established a bit of a colony...

Once a week, there's a Bodu Beru performance (Maldivean rhythmic drumming and singing). The band are all drawn from the island staff. We're kneeling at the left - behind me is our room attendant, Navaz, and kneeling at bottom right is the dive boat captain!

Behind a safety fence, rooms 24 and 25 are being knocked together to form a large suite.

The rather unsightly sand-pumping pontoon in action. By the end of our holiday, it had finished the job and was moored offshore in the lagoon area.
