Sunset over the jetty at Thudufushi.  A Twin Otter seaplane is tied up to the pontoon in the lagoon, ready for an early flight back to Male in the morning.  The crew stay on the island overnight - a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

A bronzed Adonis and friend.  There were several of these completely tame lovebirds flying loose on the island.  Presumably hand-reared as they showed no fear of humans whatsoever.
