Out and About

We took a taxi into the capital, St George's, one day to explore the sights.  Here is the view across Grande Anse bay from Fort George, commanding the entrance to the harbour.

We stopped for a cooling beer at the Nutmeg bar & restaurant on the Carenage.  We'd also visited this bar on a previous visit in 1992.

We went for a relaxing sunset cruise on this 60-foot catamaran, Shadowfax.

We cruised past Fort George.  Poking over the fort wall you can see the barrels of the cannon shown in the first picture on this page.  The large, modern buildings in front are the main hospital.
