Diving 4: Wrecks and the reef

Azure Vase Sponges seem to glow bright blue under water.

Colourful corals and sponges on the reefs around Aruba.

Now some worms. First, a colony of Social Feather Duster tube worms (Bispira brunnea) at Tire Reef.

The Antilla was, until recently, the largest wreck in the Caribbean. The 125m German freighter was deliberately sunk by its

After 75 years on the bottom, the Antilla is now very broken up by storms.

There's plenty of encrustation on the rusting plates of the Antilla.
